If mother has lazy eye from childhood,can her children also get lazy eye.can we stop before delivery?

Yes the baby can have lazy eye.. as there is genetic predisposition. Having said that it's not always necessary for a baby to inherit this condition. As a pediatric ophthalmologist I would suggest you to get your infant evaluated with a pediatric ophthalmologist at 6 months of age.

During an antenatal scan you can specially ask your doctor to look for eyes. Any gross abnormality only can be detected with antenatal scan

This cannot be predicted before delivery, You can get the baby examined early in life so any refractive error gets treated timely preventing lazy eye
