Before any decision, get central corneal thickness test done. I do it freely. The corneal thickness must be above a threshold, 》than 510 microns. If possible get corneal topography to rule out other corneal diseases, like keratoconus. If you can not afford, these tests at your place, ask your ophthalmologist or optician to record keratometric readings. They give an idea about keratoconus and other corneal disorders which warn us not to get lasik. If your keratometric readings are more than 48 D, be more careful. It  costs anywhere between 40,000 to 50000 rupees, dependsl on  where you live. You seem to be an eligible candidate for Lasik.
