LASIK + CXL ( Keratoconus)
My right eye central cornea thickness is 498 um , left eye corneal thickness is 510 um.
Right eye power: -3.00
Left eye power: -3.75
Am i eligible to undergo LASIK+Cxl procedure for spects removal ?
In 2015 when i was told that there are some symptoms of keratoconus, recently in 2019 again when i went for tests , i was told that - there is no worsening. For these 4 years keratoconus didnt progress, It would be forme fruste keraroconus
Lasik is generally not preferred in forme fruste keratoconus. PRK also knows as ASA or advanced surface ablation may be a better option. You do not need CXL as there is no documented progression in 4 years . Maskatieyeclinic Opposite Charni Road station east, Mumbai
