Femto laser is a type of laser, it has multiple uses in eye. Most commonly it is used in cataract surgery (FLACS)and in spectacle removal surgery (SMILE).
Another surgery which uses laser for spectacle removal is LASIK.
Multifocal lenses are implanted in eye after Cataract removal surgery. They are most suitable for patients who don't want to wear spectacles after cataract surgery.
