My baby is 5 months old, catches cold often so visited a paediatric pulmonologist and he checked and said lungs are fine and it might be aspiration and acid reflux and prescribed 1/2 tablet of Lanzol Junior morning and night for 15 days. Is it safe to give ?? Like he was not diagnosed but Doctor told may be so is it safe to give this tablet for 15 days ?

More details needed, if GER baby will loose weight, normal spitting also common at 5 months.In severe GER can give Once daily dose only. Better go for paediatrician /neonatologist ; they guide you.

It has been used at this age. It is used in the treatment of reflux. Having said that cough and cold are minor problems. Better to avoid drugs unless you are very worried about growth and development of the child
