Hello..my new born son is 1 month old and has latching problem..can I get some references for good lactation consultants in mysore.. Thanks in advance..

At one month of age babies usually don't have any latching problem unless they r sick or mother has some issues like retracted nipple or engorged breast Pls seek some nearby pediatrician and take a good advice

Some babys are lazy,   Sleep while feeding. Feed ur baby as per baby's demand only. 15-20 min active sucking is enough for baby. Keep entertaining ur bany, sing a song, cuddle, while feeding. It will help. Keep a watch on urine output. Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day. Give proper position to baby while feeding. If baby sleep comfortably for atleast 1-2 hrs after feeding suggest baby have taken suficient milk.
