Knee Pain & left hand thump pain

My mother is complaining about knee pain , she walk without complain around 2-3 kms, however wen she sits & while getting up she had pain on one of her knee, in addition to this she had pain on her left hand thumb She is not able to get enough strength to old thinks which required her thumb Just wasn't to check which doctor I should visit (physical,orth or nerve)& wat are the probability Need some advice & help
