Kindly help me regarding report
Hello Drs, I am attaching my thyroid sonography as i recently recovered from covid my tsh was 13 so dr did antibodies of thyroid which turn out to be 300 today i got sonography in which i am very afraid by the impression as it is mentioned to do fnac correlation. Please tell me is it serious i am attaching report as well. Does it show any tumor or something.
The report is showing thyroid nodules. This condition is very common in presence of TPO antibodies. Mostly likely these nodules are not concerning for Tumor/ cancer, given that your antibodies were positive and TSH is high. However, to definitively exclude presence of cancer, chance of which is very low, almost less than 5 %, fnac or thyroid biopsy is required.
Please consult online to discuss details of your symptoms, because you may require thyroid medications for high TSH
