I have frequent kidney stone issues every 2years. 2023 may also had the same problem and during CT scan found 4stones. Biggest one is around 6mm and they did not cause any problems till early December this year. 1st week of dec i observed blood in urine and it got disappeared after having lot of fluids. Yesterday I got the same problem. When I rushed to the doctor he mentioned the one 6mm is on its way to bladder but got struck. During CT scan it's observed that kidney swelling as well. Doctor had recommended me to go for surgery as it is struck for last 20 days. I am in dilamma. Pls suggest.

It is likely that the stone is obstructing your ureter, leading to hydroureteronephrosis. Given that it has been 20 days, the chances of the stone passing into your bladder are very less. It would be advisable to consider surgical intervention at this stage.
