Dear Sir, the basic tests recommended to screen for kidney function are urine protein to creatinine ratio and blood creatinine levels. Other than that you can get your blood pressure and blood sugars tested. Whatever the results of the tests it is best to abstain from alcohol consumption because that can affect your overall health.
