Our son Nithilan 5.5 years old is having fever since last night. The temperature reached upto 103.5 and got reduced to 100 We have given Calpol syrup, is there any other we can do tonight so that fever reduces and temperature is maintained below 100.

Continue giving him paracetamol every 4 hourly if the temperature is above 99.5.preferably after he has had something to eat. You can do that for the next 48 hrs if the child is stable. Consult yr paediatrician if he worsens.
