Ketorolac for Bacterial Conjunctivitis

Is 0.4% Ketorolac Ophthalmic solution a viable treatment to reduce the symptoms and/or duration of bacterial conjunctivitis of a 3 year old? The solution was prescribed to the same 3 year old recently for an ear infection, so I assume it isn't an issue. I understand this solution is designated for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, and not bacterial. If it is not a viable option, is there an OTC antibacterial ointment or should we visit his doctor?

ketorolac is not an antibiotic . it is to reduce the pain and inflammation due to conjuctivitis. it is safe generally. it can be given for bacterial and allergic conjunctivitis. please visit ur doctor if u dont get better
