Keratoconus is a progressive disorder with multifactorial etiology. It's generally found to be associated with allergic conjunctivitis, VKC,   which involves eye rubbing. Treatment depends on stage of keratoconus . If left untreated​ it progresses till 28-30 years of age with partial to  severe visual debilitation.
