Keratoconus is not a condition that needs to be cured.just like
diabetes or high blood pressure.its progression ,if present needs to be prevented.keratoconus patients should repeat a test called pentacam/corneal topography every 6 months to check for progression.if progression is present, collagen cross-linking or a new procedure called FILI(femto intrastromal lenticular Insertion) needs to be done depending on the state of your cornea. Both are relatively painless and quick procedured. There is no definite progression time, but keratoconus generally doesn't progress beyond the age of 35 years.
