Jerk During sleep

Hello Doctor, My husband is 42 year old and I am experiencing that there is very slight jerk in beginning of his sleep. It's regular but at beginning of sleep not after that. He is healthy and fit. Doing regular exercise. I am bit worry. Please suggest

Jerks of the legs/arms at the beginning of the sleep can be called hypnic jerks or sleep starts, they occur while falling asleep. They r usually harmless and a common condition. Sometimes stress or physical exhaustion can increase it. Mimics: Below are few common conditions which can mimic the above said symptoms Seizures: Constant jerking of one or more limbs Restless leg syndrome: Constant unpleasant sensation in legs which improves with leg movement.
