My mother is feeling anxious because of jaw swelling. She woke up at night and saw the swelling and got scared. Help... tell me any medicine or home remedy. Is ibuprofen okay for antinflamation

Hello.yes for anti inflammatory Ibuprofen is okay but then we need to know what sort of swelling is that...is it viral infection..or due to any hurt or any other underlying tissue problem.. if the cause is known it's easy to treat ..consult a physician or a surgeon....thank you
