Jaundice treatment

My mother aged about 70 years recently suffering from jaundice. she is diagnosed under ayurvedic treatment. She is also a patient of diabetes, High BP and gastric. BP and sugar level is under control though she is taking medicin regularly. 1st she is tested bilirubin test level came 3.0. Next test 4.2. yesterday she tested level came around 9.0 can you suggest we will follow allopathic treatment or continue with ayurvedic treatment. Thanking you Have a nice day Mohan Sahu
