As you have recovered from jaundice recently,you need to follow it up with liver enzymes and ultrasound scan.If the liver enzymes are raised get hepatitisB and c serology done.

Yellowish discolouration will be seen only when bilirubin >3mg/dl. Need further history and other parameters of the liver profile
