Jaundice fever
My 4-year-old son, Vinayak Sharma, has developed symptoms suggestive of jaundice. He has yellow urine, mild abdominal pain, and hard stools/constipation.
We first consulted a doctor at the Community Health Centre (CHC). The doctor advised blood tests, reviewed the reports, and diagnosed jaundice.
I would now like to consult a pediatrician/child specialist for a second opinion to confirm whether the diagnosis is correct, identify the possible cause, and review whether the current medicines are appropriate.

Please get an Anti-HAV IgM test. It is probably acute viral hepatitis, most likely hepatitis A. There is usually no need to worry, as hepatitis A generally resolves on its own. However, there are some warning signs, so you need to be careful and seek medical attention if any of them appear.

This result are compatible with acute hepatocellular injury/hepatitis pattern which can be due to infections, drug related injury and other causes. A few more tests may suggest some diagnosis. Consult paediatrician/gastroenterologist for examination.assessment is needed if there is increasing jaundice, persistent vomiting, bleeding, excessive sleepiness/confusion, altered behaviour, severe abdominal pain, or poor intake.

symptoms could resemble acute viral hepatitis, hemolytic anemia, or a bile duct blockage.
Treatment usually involves specialized hydration, a balanced pediatric diet, and addressing the constipation.

Yes there is mild elevation in bilirubin suggesting jaundice.better not to go for doctor shopping and start treatment as advised by paediatrician.
Next Steps
take more of glucose water,fibre food,decrease dal rich and protein rich foods as long as your bilirubin decrease.

Needs to do some other tests to know the reason why Liver enzymes are more.
Mostly it can be due to Hepatitis -A
Do a blood test Anti HAV IgM antibody test
