Itching on thigh
I have Red circle patches with itching on inner thighs, on both left and right thighs. It is very uncomfortable and so itchy. It cover about 3-4 inch area in inner thigh. I have taken fluconazole 150mg for 10 days and use dermikem skin cream(brand - alkem). Skin cream not working well, but fluconazole help me Little bit.
How can I cure it. Please suggest me.
Fluconazole doesnt work so well these days for fungal infection. You need better antifungal tablets. Don't use soap on the affected areas. Take consult from a good Dermatologist and follow up properly. I am.sure with proper treatment, it should come down. Do not use dermikem of as it contains steroid which is not supposed to be used for fungal infections.

Treatment for Fungal Infection:-Stop all other applications.
Cap. Itraconazole (Itrasys/ Canditral) 100mg twice daily for 2 weeks.
Sertacide Cream for application twice daily for 1 month.
Tab. Fexova 180 mg (if required in case of itching)
The treatment has to be complete otherwise the condition will recur.Blood
Test- Blood Sugar Fasting & PP also Serum Insulin Fasting and PP.
