The itching near the testicles has been bothering me for a couple of weeks and it has even got worse . It caused a rash and the itchiness is unbearable . There is small layers or tiny pieces if dry skin coming of and the area is reddish in colour . Do I have to consult a doctor ?if so what type of doctor looks into this matters ? Is there and remedy for this ?

Hello there...I can understand your concern. From your description it looks like you could be suffering from scrotal dermatitis or tinea cruris or irritant contact dermatitis. Treatment for all the three vary. And it very difficult to make a diagnosis without clinical examination. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation. Till then use only lukewarm water to wash your genitals. Avoid using any steroid creams as it can flare up any infection.
