Itching feel in body(only above waist)

I often get a kind of itching feel at my back for less than a minute particularly when my body temperture changes.i work in Air conditioned environment where i observe itching if i play or go out in hot sun..i dont have any red marks or hives in my skin..i can feel itching even though am not sweating. Kindly diagnose this problem.

You are probably suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Not everyone gets visible  hives. It can be symptomatically treated with medicines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months.
