Itching and dryness on sole

I'm suffering from itching and dryness on sole since 5 months. I had used a cream called cutum for sole and palm as dorected by the dermatologist. But it is not at all effective for me. I used a bottle. Still i have the problem and tried with moisturizer and oiling. What are the causes for this driness and is this any fungal infections that can be spread all over foot? Kindly suggest me a solution
