I am prescribed istamet 50/500 before meals for prediabetes. I hv been taking it before meals but can I change it to after meals ( lunch) as I hv to take a different medicine before my lunch?

Usually diabetes meds should be taken before (at least 20 minutes before )meals for max benefits, if having gastric side effects then only take after.
