Issue related to operation of leg

One of my friend gone through by the operation and dr fix rod on the leg.My question is related to that. In x-ray there is break bone which is clearly visible and seems that it's not fix. So will this create any problem in leg or is it fine.

That bone is called fibula, it's fracture won't cause any problem. Don't worry. The bone on which the metal plate is put is the important one and if it unites well there won't b any issues.
