Is Zerotuss xp safe for 2months old

My son is 2 months old and suffering from severe cold and ear pain. I'm giving zerotuss xp drops on Paediatricians advice. Today after 4 doses I have seen my baby is shaking his hands and legs terribly. is Zerotuss safe?? I'm worried please help.
