My doctor stopped tranexamic acid tablets and told me continue antacids till 3-4 mnths with sucralfate suspension
I took (tranexa) for 10 days only
He said if u got black stool we will again do an endoscopy
What is the need to do endoscopy again n again ??
They did it twice
Fist time for investigation and second time for APC
Is it possible to still bleed after apc ? And if it is then is there any other substitute of endo .
He even allowed me to drink milk which is usually to be avoid in erosive gastritis .
Im thinking of changing my doctor .

Your management is not incorrect. Bleeding cam occur after APC and after any measure taken for bleeding any where in body.
Plain Milk without. Added sugar etc is very releiving in gastritis inflammation. But only small quantity is needed to be taken at a time.
Black stools if malena then it means upper gi bleed that is gastric bleed and if bleed is there it needs to be stopped. There is no Alternative for Endoscopy. If Endoscopy fails then surgery is needed.
