Is Technetium 99 scan for thyroid safe?
I recently have undergone Technetium 99 scan and I was worried if the radioactive element does anything bad to my body. I am feeling a bit lethargic after the scan, is this normal?

Hello TC uptake scan for thyroid is very safe because dose of Radioactive iodine given is very small.. Need not to worry..!! Feeling lethargic is not very common after scan.. Hydrate yourself and take rest.. If doesn't improve consult doctor..!!
