Is prothiaden 25 safe to use?
I had acid reflux problem for past 3 weeks...my gastroenterologist has suggested me to take pan tablets. And he also told me to take prothiaden 25 tablets which is used for anti depressants...how anti depressants related to Gastro intestinal conditions? And i have seen that prothiaden tablet contains side affects...so i just want to know is it really safe to use?

What side effects have you seen ? Can you pls elaborate? Or did you Google the symptoms?? And medicine?
Side effects are with all medicines.
They come up with wrong irrational dosing . If your doctor has given you medicine pls have faith and take .
Also majority gastric problems are psychosomatic so yes stress and psychological medicine help it get better.

Hi.. listen sometimes it's solved by prothiaden ..it's has a very good effect on your stomach upset problem althoght it's a anti depressant but it works on stomach problem when other medicines dont able to work ..and side effects r only if u continue for a long time and all r not applicable here ..don't worry
