Until your symptoms are absolutely unmanageable then you can take but avoid taking as much as possible in the first trimester. Try deep breathing exercises and relaxation techniques before taking medicines. You can consult a Psychiatrist/Clinical Psychologist in person for guidance.

Hi, No medications is 100% safe when it comes to first trimester. The decision to take it should be based on overall risk-benefit ratio. Occasionally using 0.5 mg shouldn't be too much of a challenge. However the best way ahead would be a detailed clinical interview to understand the symptoms and get comprehensive medical history. For a personalized management plan,  you can connect over the app using instant consultation. Kind Regards, Dr Abhinav Tewari MBBS (A.I.I.M.S., New Delhi) MD (Psychiatry) (A.I.I.M.S., New Delhi)
