Is Boostrix can be given to a 5yr Kid?

I my son is 5 year old. As per the immunization schedule, we have given the vaccine to my kid. For DTP vaccine doctor has administered Boostrix. Later i came to know that this is a adult vaccine not for kids. He is having swelling in his leg. What can do i now? is Boostrix can be given to a 5yr Kid?
