Irregular periods since beginning.Suffering from PCOD, got USg in 2016 it shows 8.4×4 b/cov.bulky polyestic+bulky ..  yesterday i went to doctor  who prescribed me the contraceptive pill Mala m ..should i take this contraceptive pill or not? Before this, she gave me medeoxy tablet for periods. After taking medicine my periods came and now she has prescribed me mala  for 3 months.

Yes in order to get ur periods regularised u should take the OCPs for at least two to three months along with Uterine toners .
