Irregular periods in peri menopause
Hello sir / Mam , my mother is 53 years old . She is in peri menopause she is experiencing irregular periods from 4 years 6 months she is having no periods and then periods came back is this normal or something to be worried about this kind of pattern is occurring from 2 years. She has two intramural fibroid in uterus from 8 years. Fibroids are benign growth or something life threatening ?? Please help me
If your mother is getting bleeding off and on for the last two months then she needs a proper evaluation.Fibroids are not cancerous per say but in menopausal women in 0.1 percent sometimes it can become cancerous.
Whatever it is if she is getting bleeding after 6 months of stopping menses then she definitely needs a thorough evaluation
