Irregular menstruation cycles

I have irregular menstruation cycles since 4-5 years now. Recently went to a doctor and she gave me medicines to get my periods. After around 36 hours of getting my periods, I went for some tests she prescribed. I had to go on the second day, since it lasted hardly 2 days ( had same experience with the medicine before). Out of all the results, one seemed quite unusual. LH level is >200 while FSH is 51.48 mIU/ml. I know this ratio should be 1:1. I had pelvic scan done but nothing there. Also I have TSH 10. Rest is fine with RBC count to 5.1 I want to know how severe is the issue here and how will it impact my health? In this case. What should be the course of action? Thanks

TSH is definitely elevated... Looks like hypothyroidism. It could be the reason for irregular menstruation. Consult a Endocrinologist and start thyroid meds. Also if you have gained weight over the last 6-12 months, that also could be a reason. Losing those extra kilos will also help
