Hi is it safe to take orofer xt plus 5 ml for a three yr old girl every alternate days bcoz it contains 30 mg iron, 500 mcg folic acid n 500 mcg b12... doctor prescribed as maintenance dose for life long...is this high dose for a kid n won't iit cause toxicity or is it safe to take weekly thrice as he prescribed for life long...

For 3 months Daily to be taken Cannot be taken life long. Too much iron accumulates in the liver and can cause toxicity
