I have been diagnosed with intramural fibroid which is 4.5 cm and present in the posterior side of the uterus. I'm TTC and my doctor advised me to remove it through laparoscopy. is there any other treatment for this? or surgery is the only treatment? If I go with surgery, will my uterus be strong enough to conceive post surgery? will surgery cause any other problem? I'm afraid to go with surgery because I doubt if I can have a normal life / have babies after that.. please advise..

Hello there. I can understand your concern. I'm sorry but i don't know what​ TTC means here. Anyways, yes surgical removal is the only treatment available for it. No other option.
