My insulin level after 2 hrs is 48.19. Refer,ence range mentioned in lab report is 4.0-28.0. Is high insulin considered to me serious? I am planning for baby. Does high insulin level cause any complications during pregnancy.  What kind of diet I need to avoid and what diet i should follow.? I understand about low insulin, which leads to type to diabetic. But I don't u understand the concept of high insulin and why I get high insulin? Note: Usually i don't take sweets. I add palm sugar for coffee and tea(2 tsp perday). And diet am taking now Is, breakfast: idly/dosa/pongal. Lunch: rice, sambar and curries. Dinner: most probably Idly. Please advise me on this. Thanks
