Hi Daughter age 6 months Got insect bite Crying itching and redness on the bump Slight hardness as well Applied Lobate Gm cream once What else can be done. Crying even her bump got touched

Consult Now
Apply ice on the site. Calamine lotion will help to soothe the skin. Syp Allegra 5 ml twice a day to reduce itching. Mupimet/ T bact oint for local application, 2-3 times / day.
Next Steps
If pus/ fever develops, visit pediatrician. Might require a course of antibiotics.

Cut child's nails so she doesn't hurt herself while itching.

If the pain is worsening, there may be pus formation and infection, this would require oral antibiotics after consultant paediatrician
