Hello You can apply calamine lotion or atarax lotion /cream on the affected area..cold compress on the affected area.. if the bump is relatively big and redness and baby has intense itching you can consult your paediatrician and he might prescribe a mild steroid if needed..

Cipladine is not recommended for itching due to an insect bite unless the skin is broken or infected. For a swollen itchy insect bite, use a cold compress and an age-appropriate antihistamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) if needed. If the swelling is large, a mild steroid cream prescribed by your doctor is more effective. Please consult your pediatrician urgently if the redness spreads, pus develops, fever occurs, or your child has difficulty breathing.
