Inner Cheek Swelling

For some last days I had inner Cheek swelling, and before that I had swellings on different parts of my mouth which didn't last long also side an allergy. I went to the dentist, and he identified that I have a wisdom tooth which will be ready to erupt in the next 6-8 months and prescribed a mouthwash and ointment. How long for the swelling to go?

If you are having swelling from few days, it might be sign of pericoronitis (infection or swelling around the erupting wisdom tooth). Has your dentist prescribed you any medicine (antibiotic and analgesic)? If yes then swelling will subside in a course of 3 to 5 days. If swelling is not reducing, you might have to get your wisdom tooth removed.
Next Steps
consult a dentist or an oral surgeon
Health Tips
