Index finger swelling

I got my left hand index finger dislocated from middle joint on 2nd Oct. I got it treated and doctor advised me to not bend for 3 weeks and use a finger cot. Yesterday I removed the cot as it's 3 weeks and now my finger is swelled. Do I need to visit doctor or is it normal ?

You need to go and see a doctor. He will further assess and guide you in a right direction. Do visit a Physiotherapist for pain management.
Next Steps
For your swelling go for cold pack every 3 hourly and not more than 10-12 mins. It will help in reducing the swelling and pain.
