Monitor his platelets twice daily. Don't panic. Give him plenty of fluids. Monitor his BP and watch out for pain abdomen and vomiting, bleeding from the body, difficulty in breathing. If above symptoms r not present, don't worry. Most of the time the platelets improve by itself. If platelets come to 30000,get him admitted for monitoring.
