Increased heart beat and weakness

Hello, I have been experiencing intermittent short durations of increased heartbeats two to three times a day for the past two weeks. It seems to occur randomly. There is slight loss of weight and increased weakness. I have no history of significant diseases and i am also not taking any medicines. Can you please guide me on what could be the reason for this. And what treatment should i follow? Thank you.

Hello... There are many reasons for an increased heart beat. First and foremost you should go to nearby hospital and get an ECG done to rule out any conduction problems in heart. A 24 hour ECG recording needs to be done in your case. Since there is accompanying weakness and weight loss few basic blood investigations including thyroid profile need to be done.
