Incomplete Abortion

2024-01-31 13:03:49
I went through a medical abortion on December 22nd and then had heavy bleeding 3 weeks later. I got an abdomen and pelvis (not TVS) ultrasound and it was said that there were retained products of conception. My home town doctor said that my abortion was incomplete and I could take Misoprostol once again to complete it or go through a DNC. Since I was too scared for a surgical procedure, I again opted for misoprostol and took the medicines. But this time unlike the first time I didn't have any bleeding. The first time I had heavy clots. This time it was just very very little bleeding and now I am having brown discharge. I would like to know if my abortion was complete or no. Should I wait for another week or should I take an ultrasound to confirm again or should I take a pregnancy test to see if it's positive?! Too tensed about this since I took the pills for the second time and I don't know the results yet. Could you please help me with this?!
