She had her first dose of Rabies vaccine on Day 0. Can she have the immunoglobulin injection on Day 1 after first dose of Rabies vaccine is administered ? Is it necessary ?

Why was Rabies vaccine given ? What is the degre of wound involved. In case of 1 st and 2 nd degree wounds immunoglobulin injection is not required. If the wound is 3 rd degree in nature , then only immunoglobulin injection is advised.
