150 IU/mL suggests increased allergic sensitization, but it does not confirm a specific allergy. It can be elevated in: • Allergic Rhinitis • Atopic Dermatitis • Food Allergy • Allergic Conjunctivitis • Parasitic infections (less common but possible in some regions) Initial management • Avoid dust exposure (dust mites are common triggers) • Frequent washing of bedding in hot water • Avoid strong fragrances / smoke • Saline nasal drops for nasal symptoms • If eye itching is significant → pediatrician may consider anti-allergic drops

IgE 150 is high but not as high to require specific treatment. Recurring cold and rubbing eyes can be due to allergic rhinitis. Reduce environmental dust. Wash linens at least twice per week, keep child away from pollens/ wear mask outside etc. Can give short course of cetrizine to treat allergy. Recurring cold (6-8 episodes per year) at this age is actually normal and helps children develop immunity
