I've got pain and numbness in my finger.

I had a hangnail on my middle finger on my left hand and I started to feel pain in my finger after a while then its become inflamed. Over the past week, I've had this green colour start rising and became visible next to my nail. It almost looks like a growth of some sort, maybe fungal? It's effecting my hand now with numbness and pain. This started about 2 weeks ago.
