sugar levels or any family history of
diabetes or
thyroid as pcos patients have a propensity of developing diabetes and thyroid issues. 3) any milky discharge through the breast as there might be increased
prolactin levels in blood of some patients and 4) marital status as the management changes if you plan to concieve.
Next Steps
First and foremost you need to get certain tests like 1) fasting
sugar(2)

HbA1c( glycosylated hemoglobin)(4) serum
thyroid stimulating hormone(
tsh) (5) serum
prolactin levels(6) serum
AMH( antimullerian hormone)(7) serum free
testosterone(8) serum dheas ( dehydroepiandrostenedione). Secondly the medications you are taking are not basically for pcos as such but for control of androgen excess and which you should continue as per given by your consultant as he/ she may have started it after seeing some reports. Thirdly a little bit of exercise and controlling your weight by diet and avoiding sweets and carbohydrates in your diet should help. Fourthly you need to consult a gynaec after the above reports who might put you on certain hormone pills for 21 days . These pills although are birth control pills but they help to get down your pcos nature, but if you are married you need to consult your nearest infertility person who may give you some other form of tablets to grow your eggs.
