Does chamydia the infection itself make you infertile or does it have to cause PID then it makes you infertile?

Nor chlamydia nor PID causes infertility. But if ignored for akong duration then both might cause many other difficulties like renal UTI, chronic fever, weakness etc. Whereas infertility can be due to various other reason oike 1.
