I can't sense taste in half of my tongue

3 months back I underwent wisdom tooth removal procedure.. from that time I can't sense any taste in my right side tongue.. what can I do now... If I touch my tongue it feels different.. currently am out of country so I can't able to visit my dentist.. kindly help me

Hope so right side wisdom tooth had removed,it seems like post surgical parasthesia.In most of them it's transient&resolve by it's own,but time duration for resolving may extend from 1wk to 6months or 1yr.Visit your dentist and take neurobion forte tablets for 1month.

Ur question is suggestive of post operative paresthesia It is one of the complications of wisdom tooth extraction. In some patients it resolves on it's own and takes anywhere between few weeks to a year
